The Penn-Irwin Motel was established in 1946 as one of the first lodging establishments at the western most terminus of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at that time.  It is the longest continuously operating, privately owned motel on U.S. Route 30 in Irwin, PA.

The Penn-Irwin Motel has become a boutique motel with knotty pine walls and furnishings from the 1930’s through the 1980’s.  If you are interested, there are Magic Fingers in some of the rooms.  So, if you’re looking for a cookie cutter place to stay with white walls and modern furnishings we are not it.

We cater to people who want clean, quiet rooms with old fashion touches.  We see our motel as a bed & breakfast WITHOUT the breakfast.  Our customers consist of all kinds of people: workers, vacationers, travelers, people who are moving, etc…  For this reason we do permit pets in certain rooms for an extra charge.

Within a short drive there are numerous fine dining restaurants.  If you are tired of driving there are fast food and casual dining restaurants within walking distance.  For those of you who like to shop there are stores and a shopping center nearby.

The Penn-Irwin Motel is located one half of a mile west of Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 67 the Irwin Exit on US Route 30.  McDonald’s is at the bottom of the driveway and Burger King is across the street.  Our address is 9111 Route 30, North Huntingdon, PA 15642 and our phone number is (724) 863-3870.

We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express and Union Pay credit cards.  Of course we accept cash and Travelers Checks but NO personal or company checks.  For reservations or more information please call us at (724) 863-3870.
